Journey Christian Church

Virginia Vision is the division of Virginia Evangelizing Fellowship that is completely dedicated to launching and planting new churches across the Commonwealth of Virginia and surrounding region.

 

Here are some of the plans for church planting over the next couple of years:

• Fall 2010: Chapel Hill, NC
  
• Spring 2011: Morgantown, WV  
• Fall 2011: Danville, VA

In 2008, Journey partnered with Virginia Vision and VEF to plant a new, vibrant church in downtown Richmond called Area 10 Faith Community. This new church is doing very well under the leadership of pastor and church planter Chris Barras. Beyond a three-year financial commitment (2008-2010), Journey provided more than 50 volunteers to walk the streets of Carytown to pass out flyers announcing the start of Area 10 and also to collect food for Area 10's first food drive.
